The Town of Middleton would like to advise residents and motorists that the new 3-way stop at the intersection of School Street and North Street has officially been installed.
How does a 3-way stop work?
All vehicles approaching the intersection from any of the three directions must come to a complete stop before proceeding.
- The first vehicle to arrive at the intersection has the right-of-way.
- If two vehicles arrive at the same time, the vehicle on the right generally has the right-of-way.
Temporary signage has been installed to alert motorists to the new traffic pattern. If you're unsure of the location of the 3-way stop, please refer to the map below.
Please use extra caution when travelling through this area, pay close attention to the new stop signs, and remember to come to a complete stop.
