15 Aug 2024 - The Town is currently conducting preliminary preparations as a precaution in light of a potential storm event. Please refer to this web page and other social media as well as news outlets for updates.

- The CAO and Mayor, in consultation with Annapolis REMO and other Town staff, will make the call if a Comfort Centre should be activated (unless directed by REMO Annapolis or NSEMO PPC).
- If required, the Comfort Centre will be located at the Middleton Fire Hall (49 Church Street - adjacent to Town Hall).
- The Comfort Centre will not open until conditions are suitable for people to leave their homes.
- Residents should be prepared to shelter in place for 72 hours; though if power restoration times are expected to be longer than 24 hours, the Comfort Centre may open earlier.

- If the Comfort Centre does activate, a Green Sign will be visible on the public entrance to the Middleton Fire Hall.
