The Town of Middleton and "Take the Roof off Winter" are co-hosting a free day of snowshoeing and Geocaching on Saturday, February 25, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Middleton Rotary Raceway Park, Middleton, NS.  Store date is Sunday, February 26, 2012.

We will have free snowshoes available for people to sign out to see if they like snowshoeing! 

We will have a limited number of free GPS units available for people to sign out, if they do not have their own.  Instructions and demonstrations will be available so that people can learn about geocaching.  There will be some demonstration caches placed around the Rotary Park for poeple to try their hand at caching but still be close enough to "base camp" to get help if it is necessary.  There will be some permanent geocaches placed along the Rails to Trails on both sides of the park. 

Free Hot Chocolate and refreshments will be available.  There will be lots of great prizes available to be won!
